The beautiful flower image below in South America is called "passion fruit . Usually, however, is known as the " Passion Flower (Passiflora Edulis ). Its fruits have a greenish color and are the berries from which you can get a juice. Its leaves are sometimes used to treat anxiety and insomnia. In the seventeenth century, the English colonists who settled parts of the flower became the symbol of Christ's suffering on the Cross , hence the name Passion Flower .
