Oggi il nostro paese è balzato agli onori della cronaca nera nazionale per l'efferato omicidio di un noto personaggio locale, nel tranquillo pomeriggio di ieri.
Le modalità di esecuzione criminale non hanno nulla da invidiare alle più collaudate tecniche mafiose e terroristiche e sono raccontate dai giornalisti di cronaca nera che si sono occupati della vicenda.
Malgrado la gravità inaudita di quanto accaduto, i capursesi della piazza hanno mostrato una sostanziale indifferenza, continuando a frequentare bar e circoli ricreativi, come se nulla fosse accaduto a pochi metri da loro e come se il cadavere steso per terra, non meritasse neppure un sign of the cross.
No surge of protest, no one fit of anger, not resignation. Only indifference to the death of others.
