reading the blog of Steve Stafford Revit OpEd http://revitoped.blogspot.com/2009/04/autodesk-revit-utilities-from-biggest.html I came across a utility to manage the keynote distributed free Emc2 from this site (look carefully in the bottom of the page):
http://www.emc2architects.com/revit_tools.html
- Allows see the keynotes grouped tree instead of a long list
- allows you to add, edit, delete individual keynotes and their descriptions
- includes the function that lets you search is the key to any known fragment of text descriptions
- includes a function to automatically change the text in all uppercase or all lowercase or title (with a capital letter of each word) and individual items are all together
- allows you to create templates keynotes from which to create the files of keynote
- It allows multiple users to work simultaneously on the same file notechiave (really useful this feature)
- allows you to check whether there are typographical error by the internal dictionary of Revit (you must copy the executable to the appropriate folder)
- automatically creates up to 10 backup copies on each user's computer for any file amended
- Most commands can be accessed by keyboard or right
- Remember the size and position of the last session
- contains an optional module for reporting errors and suggestions to Emc2
